On koala, during a long coordinator session, mcp__plugin_skills_brain__brain_write started failing on 2026-10-11 with:
MCP server "plugin:skills:brain" rejected the Authorization header in its config (update it, then run /mcp to reconnect)
The same session had used brain_query and brain_read successfully on 2026-10-10. The claude.ai brain connector still worked, and the write went through it instead. The plugin gitea server kept working.
Likely a rotated or expired BRAIN_MCP_TOKEN that the plugin's .mcp.json still references (inferred; not checked, since reading it would print a secret).
Acceptance Criteria
Root cause identified: rotation, expiry, or env not reloaded.
